The Perfect Gift

The Perfect Gift is an opportunity for you to enrich your gift giving by skipping some shopping and, in turn enrich the lives of folks in Bucyrus who are in dire need:

In Bucyrus, people live under bridges and have nowhere to get out of the cold. The only homeless shelter in Bucyrus depends completely on financial gifts from the community to stay open. Many children go hungry during the weekends because the only food they receive is at school.

This site is a means to give financially to various organizations in Bucyrus that help and provide for the desperately needy of our community. We are currently focusing on the Lighthouse Shelter, which has a capacity of nine men. Also, we have pledged funds in anticipation of opening a shelter for women and children in 2012, and much more support is needed. The Salvation Army and other local soup kitchens receive our support as they help to meet the basic food needs in our community. Also, we support the disaster relief efforts of the Crawford County Chapter of the American Red Cross. 100% of your tax deductible gift goes to our community.
